Matthew Kruger-Ross
Co-Founder
Matthew Kruger-Ross, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership and Higher Education Administration at WCUPA. He teaches graduate courses on educational technology, curriculum, and research methodologies. Matthew’s research interests include the philosophy of education and technology and its impact on educational practice, curriculum theory as it relates to teaching and being a teacher, and the intersection of philosophy of education and the hermeneutic phenomenology of Martin Heidegger.

Sean Legnini
Co-Founder
Sean is an educational researcher and experienced science educator who explores how stories and experiences create meaningful learning. His research draws on phenomenology, psychological distance, construal-level theory, and narrative studies to explore how educational experiences connects students to socioscientific issues.
An Ed. D. candidate at West Chester University, Sean previously taught and chaired in Math, Science, and STEAM departments.
Outside of research, Sean is a father of four, hockey coach, and amateur photographer. See more about Sean.

KC Thoman
Undergraduate Researcher
KC Thoman grew up in York, Pennsylvania, and is studying Secondary Education with minors in Communications, Civic and Professional Leadership, and Journalism. KC decided he wanted to become an educator because he has a passion for the pursuit of knowledge and an aversion to working weekends. (Spring 2024 - present)
